The bathroom was well done, however, with two individual sinks and a multi-shelf glass divider between. Several walls were covered with wheat colored faux-wood paneling reminiscent of a bad 50's rec room. The underwhelming beige and woodtone color scheme was OK, but it lacked the elegance I had seen in Encore rooms. Rooms at the Wynn had recently been updated with decor that was surprisingly bland. Television could be seen easily from any point in the room, and there was a generous table for work or room service meals. The Tower offers VIP check in and a few attractive perks (valet parking, breakfast credit, etc.) My room even had an Alexa. Thanks to my extremely helpful host, I was assigned a room on the 29th floor of the Wynn Tower, a preferred section that is separate from the main resort. Encore is an adjacent sister property, somewhat smaller and a bit more sedate. This was my first stay at Wynn, after a number of visits in years past at the Encore. I returned to Wynn/Encore after several years of Covid-related isolation, and it was a wonderful experience. My recent five-day stay was a Wynn-win situation.
